CDA training program

Heritage Care Inc. (HCI) offers a 10-week Child Development Associate (CDA) Training Program designed to prepare individuals for careers in early childhood education. The program features live virtual instruction, individualized guidance, and professional development support covering child development, classroom management, health and safety, lesson planning, and age-appropriate learning activities. Participants receive 30 hours of instructor-led preparation and additional assistance with professional portfolios, credential applications, and assessment preparation for the nationally recognized Birth to Five CDA credential.

As a nonprofit organization committed to workforce development, Heritage Care also helps participants navigate credentialing requirements and prepare for employment opportunities in childcare and early learning centers. Eligible applicants may qualify for workforce development funding to cover training and credentialing costs. The program includes employment readiness and job placement assistance to help graduates pursue careers in early childhood education. Interested individuals can contact Heritage Care at info@heritagecare.org or (301) 237-6677 to learn about eligibility, financial assistance, and upcoming enrollment opportunities. Funding is subject to eligibility and availability, and completing the program does not guarantee the CDA credential.
